TECHNICAL SUPPORT, CONSULTANCY AND TRAINING SERVICES
The Department of Food Engineering can provide technical support, consultancy and training services under a joint protocol with the requesting person or institution, subject to the approval of the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.
PROJECT SERVICES
The Department of Food Engineering can take part in European Union projects, TÜBİTAK R&D projects, TÜBİTAK TEYDEB projects, SANTEZ projects, public–university joint projects, Development Agency projects, Ministry of Development projects and similar projects.
LABORATORY SERVICES
Routine (total aerobic mesophilic bacteria, mould and yeast count, coliforms, moisture and ash determination, protein determination, acidity determination, etc.) and specific (Salmonella, S. aureus, B. cereus, E. coli, fat determination, water activity, viscosity, wet and dry gluten, etc.) microbiological and chemical food analyses can be performed on all kinds of food samples in the laboratories of the Department of Food Engineering.
